Abstract
Este artículo presenta el desarrollo de la guía didáctica como caso de estudio para la asignatura
de Estadística para la toma de decisiones en el programa de Doctorado en Administración
Industrial de la Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
También se presenta los resultados de la evaluación estudiantil del desempeño docente, la
metodología y los instrumentos utilizados durante el curso mediante un análisis de medidas de
tendencia central y de variación a los resultados dados por las encuestas de evaluación
estudiantil al docente, planificación del curso, metodología, herramientas de comunicación por
parte del docente. Adicionalmente se establece una alineación entre la visibilización efectiva de
los recursos didácticas derivados de la actividad de investigación y las referencias de los
requisitos de cumplimiento de estas actividades en normativas de acreditación de agencia como
ACAP, Audit y Hceres.
Description
This article presents the development of the teaching guide as a case study for the subject of
Statistics for decision making in the Doctorate program in Industrial Administration of the Faculty
of Industrial Engineering of the Technological University of Panama. The results of the student
evaluation of teaching performance, the methodology and the instruments used during the course
are also presented. These results clarify with an analysis of measures of central tendency and
variation of the results given by the student evaluation surveys to the teacher, course planning,
methodology, communication tools by the teacher. Additionally, an alignment is established
between the effective visibility of the teaching resources derived from the research activity and
the references of the compliance requirements of these activities in agency accreditation
regulations such as ACAP, Audit and Hceres.
