The residential sector is used to test the relative roles of socioeconomic and behavioral variables of occupants as compared with the climate and physical building characteristics. The study is carried out considering a housing stock in Mediterranean area.
Energy consumptions are investigated by using surveys, the data are collected in the University of Calabria (Italy). The analysis is developed by means a statistical approach, regression models are used to determine the significance of parameters and their interrelations. The results are useful to individuate important aspects influencing final energy uses with reference to the specific context.
