dc.descriptionThe academic stressors together with the accumulation of different tensions of the daily life of students are causing stress, which is a major problem worldwide, especially in the university environment. The objective of this research was to determine if academic overloads are the academic stressors that most influence the stress levels of students within the university environment. The study is based on an empirical analytical approach, descriptive and cross-sectional, with which the questions were established to conduct the survey from the Academic Stress Inventory (IEA), using a Likert-type response scale with 5 options. The same was applied to students belonging to the careers of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, being 60.3% women and 39.7% men. The results showed that the most influential academic stressors in student stress were academic overload with a percentage of 18.8%, lack of time to complete academic activities with 15.7% and partial it represented 9.3%, fatigue and fatigue being the physical manifestation most presented in the students, and the emotional manifestation would be the fear of not fulfilling the obligations.en-US
dc.descriptionLos estresores académicos junto con la acumulación de diferentes tensiones de la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes son causantes de estrés, lo cual constituye una problemática importante a nivel mundial, sobre todo en el ambiente universitario. El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar si las sobrecargas académicas son los estresores académicos que más influyen en los niveles de estrés de los estudiantes dentro del ambiente universitario. El estudio se realiza con base en un enfoque empírico analítico, de tipo descriptivo y transversal, con el que se establecieron las preguntas para realizar la encuesta proveniente del Inventario de Estrés Académico (IEA), utilizando una escala de respuesta tipo Likert con 5 opciones. La misma se aplicó a estudiantes pertenecientes a las carreras de la Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial, siendo el 60,3% mujeres y 39,7% varones. Con los resultados se obtuvo que los estresores académicos más influyentes en el estrés de los estudiantes fueron la sobrecarga académica con un porcentaje del 18,8%, la falta de tiempo para cumplir con las actividades académicas con 15,7% y el hacer un parcial representó un 9,3%, siendo el cansancio y la fatiga la manifestación física más presentada en los estudiantes, y la manifestación emocional vendría siendo el temor por no cumplir con las obligaciones.es-ES
