Abstract
Este artículo presenta una revisión del estado de la situación del proyecto ferroviario tren Panamá-David y su conexión con Costa Rica. La metodología corresponde a una revisión documental relativas al tema, análisis FODA del proyecto, identificación de las externalidades del proyecto, análisis de la ruta del tren Paso Canoas (conexión Costa Rica)-David (Chiriquí)- Panamá. Los resultados de estas tres herramientas evidencian la necesidad y potencialidad del proyecto y su vinculación con América Central. Finalmente se presentan las conclusiones.
Description
This article presents a review of the status of the Panama-David railway project and its connection with Costa Rica. The methodology corresponds to a documentary review o the topic, SWOT analysis of the project, identification of the externalities of the project, analysis of the Paso Canoas train route (connection Costa Rica)-David (Chiriquí)- Panama. The results of these three tools show the need and potential of the project and its link with Central America. Finally, the conclusions are presented.
