Although the Internet has been a constant presence in our lives for many years, the pandemic caused it to become an essential tool to adapt to new circumstances worldwide. The population of Panama also experienced significant changes and immersed themselves in the online world during the lockdown, recognizing the versatility of the Internet for communication, learning, and work. The number of Internet users in the country continues to rise, driving increased use of social media to maintain social connections.
