Don Santiago Ramón y Cajal, was a Spanish medical scientist and artist, who fascinated the world with his research on the nervous system. This article presents a brief biography of his life, from his childhood until his death; on how his father impacted his life and how his tenacity led him to be awarded the most important prize for a scientist, the Nobel Prize.
Don Santiago Ramón y Cajal, fue un médico científico y artista español, que fascino al mundo con sus investigaciones sobre el sistema nervioso. En este artículo se presenta una breve biografía de su vida, desde su niñez hasta su muerte; sobre como impacto su padre en su vida y de cómo su tenacidad lo llevó a ser galardonado con el premio más importante para un científico, el premio Nobel.
