| dc.description | Este artículo presenta una síntesis analítica de los estudios de transporte o movilidad realizados en la República de Panamá. Estos estudios se remontan al año 1909 con el estudio de Saneamiento de las ciudades de Panamá y Colón realizado por el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos de América. Se ha realizado una revisión de un total de 155 documentos sobre planes de movilidad urbana y estudios conexos afines dentro del período de 1909 a 2022. Los autores hemos clasificado estos documentos en las siguientes categorías: estudios, reporte, artículos científicos, manuales, ingeniería conceptual, compendios, planes estratégicos, boletines técnicos, notas técnicas conceptuales, especificaciones funcionales y contractos. A partir de allí, utilizando una metodología de corte longitudinal se presenta una síntesis de la evolución de los estudios de planificación y movilidad urbana y estudios conexos relativos a las actividades del transporte. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This article presents an analytical synthesis of transport or mobility studies carried out in the Republic of Panama. These studies go back to the year 1909 with the Sanitation study of the cities of Panama and Colón carried out by the Government of the United States of America. A review of a total of 155 documents on urban mobility plans and related studies within the period from 1909 to 2022 has been carried out. The authors have classified these documents into the following categories: studies, reports, scientific articles, manuals, conceptual engineering, compendiums, strategic plans, technical bulletins, technical concept notes, functional specifications and contracts. From there, using a longitudinal cut methodology, a synthesis of the evolution of urban planning and mobility studies and related studies related to transport activities is presented. | en_US |
