dc.description | The passengers´ traffic and station dwelling time estimation are significant parameters for mass transit planning. Nevertheless, classical methodologies are not easy to apply in certain practical situations. This work presents a new approach that combines the origin destination matrices method with the application of fuzzy logic using as a case study the Panama´s metro line 1. In particular, this paper presents an extension and practical application of the previous papers, using three fundamental levels of passenger´s flow in the membership function for a train’s coach and finally the application of the proposed algorithm in order to predict more realistic effects. | en_US |
