We find particular interest in the use of low-cost interactive digital boards as a tool to improve the teaching and
learning process. This work proposes the development of a Linux personalized distribution, for considering it a
free software which makes the low-cost interactive digital board—or IDB—easy to use. Wii-Nintendo remote
control works as an integration tool to a computer for its control, through an infrared device which works as a
mouse or digital pencil or pen on the surface where the image is projected. The distribution proposed will count
with the necessary tools, so that the IDB can be controled by the option that the Wii remote control offers. As
well, the option of being controled by a romote Android device will be integrated; that is, the user will have
control of the IDB from two different ways, depending upon the user's need.
